Privacy Policy (Philippines)

HEADS by volu-med™ is the Personal Information Controller (PIC) under the Data Privacy Act of 2012 (RA 10173). This notice explains what we collect, why, how long we keep it, who we share it with, and your rights. It is aligned with National Privacy Commission and ecommerce.dti.gov.ph. 

1. What we collect

  • Account & order data: name, contact, delivery address, order details, payment reference (no full card numbers stored).
  • Support & returns: photos/videos you send, chat/email content.
  • Device & usage: IP address, device/browser, pages viewed, time on page; limited cookies/SDKs for essential functions, analytics, and (if you opt in) marketing.

2. Why we collect 

  • Contract: to process orders, deliver goods, and handle support. 
  • Legal obligation: invoicing, tax, record‑keeping. 
  • Legitimate interests: fraud prevention, service improvement (balanced against your rights). 
  • Consent: email/SMS marketing, non‑essential cookies/analytics/ads (you can withdraw anytime).

3. Cookies & trackers
We use essential cookies for security, cart, and checkout. For analytics/marketing, we ask for opt‑in consent and avoid any deceptive design (“dark patterns”) that would invalidate consent. You can Reject All, Accept All, or Customize. 

4. Sharing
We share data with payment providers, logistics, IT/hosting, and customer support vendors under appropriate safeguards and contracts, as well as legal representatives in case of litigation.

5. Retention
We retain personal data only as long as necessary for the purposes above or as required by law, then securely delete or anonymize it. 

6. Your rights
Under the DPA, you have rights to be informed, to object (including marketing), to access, rectify, erase/block, and to damages/complain. To exercise rights, contact our DPO below. You may also complain to the National Privacy Commission: complaints@privacy.gov.ph.
